Maxey Greene is an expert in plus size clothing. Her start happened on Tumblr where she became involved in the plus size community. She organized multiple plus size events in Toronto with friend and blogger, Sarah Anne. During her earlier years, she had the opportunity to walk in NYFW for the brand Cabiria and also for multiple brands in FFFW. She modeled for Torrid.com and was featured in Gabi Gregg’s first collection with Swimsuits For All

After she graduated college with a degree in Psychology she started working as a fit model with MSA Models. She has fit for such clients as Macy*s, Target, Sears, JC Penney, Hutch, and New York & Company.

Maxey also spent her summers working at a New Image Camp in the Poconos where she worked with young women ages 7-21 on developing healthy body image and a healthy relationship with their bodies. During her summers she ran a “Model Boot camp” where she invited models such as Ashley Graham and Precious Lee to talk to the girls and have a fun-filled 3 day event. Maxey felt it was extremely important to show these young women role models who were beautiful, successful, intelligent, and also all above a size 14.

Maxey later signed with Dorothy Combs Models which sky rocketed her print modeling career. She worked for clients such as Sydney’s Closet, Dillards, Macy*s, Target, and Ashley Stewart.

After 2 years of modeling, Maxey was excited for a new opportunity that fell into her lap. She started working for Dia&Co as a stylist and art director. She was able to help a small start-up turn into a successful and widely known plus size company. Her job allowed her to learn the ins and outs of producing photo shoots. She casted, styled, and directed photo shoots.

Now, Maxey, is pursuing a career as a freelance stylist, plus size print and fit model, and blogger. If you are interested in collaborating with her please click here.
